Vines of Grüner Veltliner, originating from Austria's lower Alps, were planted in the Columbia Valley of Washington, resulting in an exotic alternative to Sauvignon Blanc. Best served ice cold, this unoaked white is bone dry with refreshing acidity, and has notes of lime zest, green herbs and white pepper. Pair with sushi, spicy Asian fare, grilled sausage, BLTs and pork schnitzel.
